DIPOLOG CITY — Businessmen from all over Zamboanga Peninsula including those coming from Ozamis City, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi will converge in this city on Aug. 5-7 for the 7th Zamboanga Peninsula Business Conference.
Hosted by the Dipolog City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), shall tackle topics such as business and investment opportunities in Zamboanga Peninsula, success beyond challenges in doing business and business opportunities in agriculture.
DCCI President Michael Malacca disclosed that Secretary Ramon J.P. Paje of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will serve as the keynote speaker during the opening ceremonies on Aug. 5.
Regional directors of the Department of Agriculture (DA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) are the resource speakers to be presenting business opportunities in agriculture.
It was also learned that that the business conference aims to capture new markets through joint ventures and partnerships, create market awareness of latest products and services, establish local, national and international business networking partnership opportunities, generate sales and development new databases of potential sales leads, and strengthen company's position in the marketplace.
