PAGADIAN CITY — The National Grid Corporation has announced a power interruption scheduled on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. along the Aurora-Molave-Polanco 69KV line.
Engr. Avelino Q. Dawis, Division Head of District 1-Northwestern Mindanao Area, NGCP said the power disruption is due to the emergency repair of cut-strand conductors between structure nos. 125 and 126 located at Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur.
Affected customers will be Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperative's (ZAMSURECO) Switch and Sandal Sub-Station covering the municipalities of Mahayag, Dumingag, Josefina, Don Victoriano, Molave, Tambulig, Aurora, Ramon Magsaysay, Midsalip and Sominot.
It will also affect Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative's (ZANECO) Polanco, Roxas and Polo Sub-stations and Wilmar Edible Oil Phils. Inc.
Engr. Dawis said normal operation will resume immediately after completion of the scheduled work not necessarily following the above timetable. (ALT-PIA9/Zambo Sur)
